Currently, Barton Executive Search is involved in an effort to provide additional support to US Troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Barton Executive Search is partnering with generous contributors to provide troops with care packages containing non-perishable and comfort items including toiletries, snacks, phone cards, batteries and personal letters written by middle school children. the world leader
in Alzheimer research and support, is the first and largest
voluntary health organization dedicated to finding prevention
methods, treatments and an eventual cure for Alzheimer’s.
American Heart Association,
The American Heart Association is a national voluntary health agency whose mission
is: "Building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke."
The Atlanta Community Food Bank
(a member of America's Second Harvest, The Nation's Food Bank Network)
currently distributes almost 2 million pounds of food and other donated
grocery items monthly to more than 800 nonprofit partner agencies in 38
counties in Metro Atlanta and North Georgia.
Atlanta Youth Academy,
For students from pre-K through 8th grade, Atlanta Youth Academy (AYA) provides quality
education on par with top independent schools. There is one big difference, however. AYA is designed
for urban children and youth whose families believe in the importance of education but who do not have access,
either financially or geographically, to excellent private schools. Because every student receives tuition assistance,
AYA brings excellence within reach.
Avon Walk for Breast Cancer,
For 2 days and 39 miles, individuals have the opportunity to dramatically impact the lives of millions affected by breast cancer worldwide.
By participating in the Avon Walk, participants allow medically under-insured women and men to receive the screening, support,
and treatment they require.
Best Buddies ®
is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to enhancing the
lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing
opportunities for one-to-one friendships and integrated employment.
Breakthrough Atlanta,
Breakthrough Atlanta is a not-for-profit organization based on the philosophy of “Students Teaching Students” offering significant and challenging
academic and personal development opportunities to a diverse and academically motivated group of Atlanta public school 7th and 8th graders.
Boy's & Girl's Club of Metro Atlanta,
for over 60 years, has been in the forefront of
youth development, working with young people from disadvantaged
economic, social, and family circumstances.
The Devereux Georgia Treatment Network,
located on a lovely rural site outside of Atlanta, has been serving
teens with very serious emotional and behavioral disorders since
1973. Devereux Georgia offers troubled male and female youth an
individualized treatment program based on their diagnosis while
building from their strengths and potential.
Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund is considered, "The Golf Charity of Massachusetts," and is one of
the largest independent scholarship organizations in New England.
The Ouimet Fund was founded in 1949 and since that time has awarded
over $14.2 Million in need-based college tuition assistance
scholarships.
The Georgia Institute of Technology
is one of the nation's top research universities, distinguished by
its commitment to improving the human condition through advanced
science and technology.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to
funding blood cancer research, education, and patient services.
The Society's mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and
myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
Link Counseling Center, a
comprehensive non-profit counseling and psychotherapy center, serving the metropolitan Atlanta area,
whose mission is to provide quality, affordable, confidential
services for all ages including individual, couple, family and group
psychotherapy and support groups.
The Lovett School,
For more than 75 years, maintained a tradition of superior
education. As an independent, nonprofit, college-preparatory day
school, Lovett provides challenging academic instruction with a
strong sense of community and a caring atmosphere for young people
in Kindergarten through Grade 12.
PMC-Dana Farber Cancer Institute,
since it’s founding in 1947, has been committed to providing cancer
patients with the best treatment available today while developing
tomorrow's cures through cutting-edge research.
The Annual Shrine Circus
is one of the largest fund-raising events sponsored by the Shriners.
The Shrine Circus provides a quality, fun-filled, family experience with
proceeds going to a great cause—the good work of Shriners in your community.
Founded in 1872, the Shrine is best known for its unique parades, its
distinctive red fez, and its official philanthropy, children's hospitals.
Siempre Verde Endowment Fund,
in 1991, The Lovett School in Atlanta, Ga., purchased 520 acres of
cloudforest property in Ecuador for the purpose of creating a
protected preserve and establishing a research center to support
tropical conservation education. Siempre Verde, which translates to
"Forever Green," offers U.S. and Ecuadorian students an opportunity
to learn conservation methods through research and the exchange of
ideas.
The Smile Train
help provide free cleft surgery and related treatment for children
who would otherwise never receive it. Helping these children is the
mission of The Smile Train.
Troops in Iraq & Afghanistan. Barton Executive Search (BES) partners with clients,
candidates and individual contributors in an ongoing effort to support US Troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Through generous contributions, BES packages and sends individual “Care Boxes” filled with an assortment
of items including toiletries, batteries, candy, high protein snacks, sunscreen, and phone cards to soldiers.
BES recently compiled 120 boxes containing personal notes from Middle School students attending The Lovett School
sharing support, thoughts and prayers to
"The Raging Bulls" Hmm261 squadron in Iraq.
